About POF

Players of the Future

  • History

Players of the Future (POF), is a Sports Marketing Company committed to helping todays youth develop as athletes, in addition to giving them the best opportunity to garner collegiate interest.  Understanding that we could use our own football network to help young athletes better their craft and get some attention from colleges that some may lack, he put together a plan to start an annual camp and 7 on 7 tournaments that would do just that.

In 2015, POF came to the realization that a camp would best utilize their resources to help connect a large number of collegiate coaches with perspective high school athletes. The POF First Annual football camp had over 50 college coaches including: Bryan Harsin, Head Coach, Boise State University, Rob Likens, Offensive Coordinator, University of Kansas, Demetrice Martin, Assistant Head Coach – Defense, UCLA, Don Pellum, Linebackers Coach, University of Oregon and many more. The camp participated about 250 student athletes. The brand Adidas sponsored the event, while AdvoCare was the nutrition sponsor. Scout.com and other high school sports media were on site with coverage of the camp.

We are getting ready to announce our Best of the State youth 7 on 7 and our Best of the States Elite high school 7 on 7 tournaments. Our Best of the State tournament will feature youth football teams in the state of California. Southern California will play against Northern California. In our Best of the States tournament, we will have tournaments in six different states; the top two teams from each state will advance to California to play in the Best of the States Tournament.

  • Purpose

The POF Camps purpose is to allow athletes to be educated by multiple college coaches from every level of play at the same time and 7 on 7 we strive to give High School and Youth athletes a superior and first class experience in the off season.

  • Mission

Through dedication and commitment our mission is to create opportunities for high school athletes to be instructed by college coaches of every level of play and in doing so, build lasting relationships.
